Educator, Writer, Architect, Aalto University
Elina Koivisto is an architect (M.Sc. Aalto University 2013). She is an educator, writer and a practicing architect. She has worked as the University Teacher of Building Technology in Aalto University since 2017. She has been involved in a variety of projects ranging from public buildings and adaptive reuse projects in Finland to an ecologically and socially sustainable KKYC youth center in Cambodia. Her interests lie in multisensory materiality in architecture as well as social and environmental effects of building materials. At the moment she is working on a pavilion project studying entangled living of humans and non-humans together with Maiju Suomi.
